Beta Period Information Page
For an indeterminate amount of time (anywhere between three or four months, possibly more or less depending on player feedback and mod mood swings) the game will be going through a beta period, or a "soft open" phase.
What this means:
- The character limit is temporarily three characters per player. This will be lifted once the game officially opens.
- There is no real application, and the game is invite-only - the only thing you need to fill out is the Persona section of the application and who invited you. Once there is an announcement of the game officially opening, you will have a month to fill out a profile for your character if you choose to continue playing them. If playing an AU or OC, a general information post after two weeks of playing/testing them out is allowed.
- Only invite people you trust. If a particular player is found to have a penchant for inviting troublemakers and wankers (three or more), their invitation privileges will be revoked.
- When the beta period has ended, you may choose to either keep the characters you had or drop them, and it will not affect any standing or CR if you don't want it to - specifics are being thought out, but the beta period is more like a surreal, dream period in which you may feel free to try almost anything with little consequence.
All other rules, unless directly noted, still apply.
In the event that you wish to take part in the beta, but don't know anyone in the game who would serve as your reference, please feel free to PM the mod journal and we may be able to work something out.
If you're having trouble deciding an Arcana or Persona for your character, please feel free to utilize the Velvet Room Post.
The Beta Phase is currently scheduled to begin Day One on September 16, 2012. The first Activity Check will be through November 11-24, counting activity starting from September through the first half of AC.
After you've signed up for the Beta Phase, please do the following.
- Please check and make certain that the information listed for you and your character(s) is correct.
- With your character journals, join and subscribe to

sardenia_city, sardenia_logs, and sardenia_ooc. - Optionally, follow sardenia_adult and sardenia_spam.
- If you have a Plurk, follow
sardenia, not friend it. This is because we care about your privacy and do not wish for anyone accessing the mod account to see your personal Plurks you may wish to keep private.
- If you still need help with deciding an Arcana or Persona for your character, please feel free to use the Velvet Room Post. Even if you've already decided, help someone else out!
